    Role
    This role will be reporting into the Head of Finance and responsible for a team of 5 in the transactional finance team. This team manage the processing of income, expenditure (excluding payroll) and cash/bank transactions. The focus of this role will be predominantly on the credit control/ accounts receivable side.

    Support the Head of Finance by providing management information, reconciling the database against the accounting system to ensure accuracy across the organisation.

    This role would suit an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control Manager who has prior management experience and wants to join a good cause who support the local area.

    Requirements
    - 5+ years' experience of credit control and accounts receivable experience
    - Management experience - at least 2 years full line management experience of 2+ heads (PDP's, 1-2-1's etc)
    - Good interpersonal skills and able to tailor approach with different stakeholders
    - Available within 4 or less weeks' notice

    The Sales Ledger position is a genuinely interesting, multi-faceted, varied and complex role that is great for a candidate who likes to keep busy. You will be part of a Finance team consisting of 7 team members; and will be responsible to ensure sales invoices are processed accurately, payments are allocated correctly and that the Sales Ledger is effectively administered.

    Any experience using the Netsuite/Oracle system is advantageous (but not essential).

    Responsibilities:

    • Allocate and reconcile Credit card payments
    • Monitor outstanding invoices/payments and refer back to ensure queries have been resolved by email/phone
    • Raise sales request for deposit invoices
    • Produce monthly receivable reports
    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure that the information is up to date and accurate
    • VAT quarters report and submission assist with pulling the information and checking

    • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Good judgement and the ability to make independent decisions aligned with executive preferences.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with diary management tools.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
