Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Coventry, UK (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum

Job Description: They are seeking a diligent and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bank reconciliations and be proficient in using Xero. This role offers a blend of in-office and remote working, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Manage invoicing and billing cycles.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within an accountancy firm.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications are advantageous.
