Job Description
Position: Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Coventry, Warwickshire
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000
Term: Full-time, Permanent, flexi-hours - 35 hours per week

The Sales Ledger position is a genuinely interesting, multi-faceted, varied and complex role that is great for a candidate who likes to keep busy. You will be part of a Finance team consisting of 7 team members; and will be responsible to ensure sales invoices are processed accurately, payments are allocated correctly and that the Sales Ledger is effectively administered.
Any experience using the Netsuite/Oracle system is advantageous (but not essential).
Responsibilities:
- Allocate and reconcile Credit card payments
- Monitor outstanding invoices/payments and refer back to ensure queries have been resolved by email/phone
- Raise sales request for deposit invoices
- Produce monthly receivable reports
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure that the information is up to date and accurate
- VAT quarters report and submission assist with pulling the information and checking
- Ensure system information (including Netsuite) are in sync with each other in relation to debt chasing

What we would like from you:
- Previous experience working in a Sales Ledger/AR Administrative position
- Experience of updating and managing ledgers
- Experience using MS Excel from beginner-to-intermediate level
- A highly organised team player, who has strong attention to detail and great communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate a professional approach that generates credibility and confidence
