    Overview:

    Working for a highly successful Microsoft Gold Partner IT Managed Services company, the 3rd Line Support Analyst is responsible for technically escalated helpdesk calls, providing 3rd line full systems troubleshooting support during major incidents. Housekeeping and maintenance on a variety of system and network infrastructures, mentoring and supporting 1st and 2nd line teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot and resolve service calls escalated to 3rd line level
    • General housekeeping and maintenance on a variety of system and network infrastructures
    • Assist and mentor Helpdesk Analysts and Senior Helpdesk Analysts with general support queries prior to escalation
    • Ensure clients are fully informed of developments related to their outstanding issues
    • Keep service management teams appraised of all escalated calls
    • Involvement in customer projects including application deployment and systems / network maintenance
    • Occasional involvement in system roll-outs, working alongside Technical Consultants to deliver new network deployments to our customers
    • Following best practices when making changes to client networks
    • Ensuring change control requests are completed for the relevant clients
    • Liaison with Technical Consultants and Field Engineers on escalated calls
    • Inclusion in an 'out of hours' standby rota
    • Upkeep of the Monitoring Platform
    • Backup Management
    • Patching OS/AV

    About you:

    • Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments from Windows Vista and above
    • Strong knowledge of Windows server environments from Server 2008 and above
    • Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
    • Group Policies (creation and management of what are they, logon scripts and PowerShell)
    • Strong knowledge of Exchange organisation troubleshooting (including fail over)
    • Strong knowledge of Office support 2007/2010/2013/2016
    • Knowledge of Office 365 troubleshooting, migration and management of user accounts
    • Knowledge and experience working with SAN and LAN/WAN technology

    Miscellaneous:

    • Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
    • 23 days annual leave rising to 27
    • Qualifications allowance payable upon successful completion of funded accreditations

This role is a highly attractive proposition for committed, experienced and organised Credit Controllers. You must be able to show experience dealing with national accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Cash forecasting - must be proactive prior to month-end to ensure the target is achieved
    • Cash Allocations
    • Higher value invoices - must follow up on payments monthly to maximise collections of cash
    • Escalations - concerns or queries should be passed on to the Account manager
    • Start of the month - to forward manual statements to customers in MS Excel
    • Communicate with customers to ensure full reconciliation for each transaction is sent back, and update the system to show this
    • Regular meetings via MS Teams with customers to discuss any resolved or non-disputed debt
    • Regular reviews regarding delinquent debt to ensure a clear ledger

    Required experience and skills:

    • Experience as a busy, flexible Credit Controller in a pressurised environment dealing with key strategic accounts
    • Having dealt with complex processes for key national account customers
    • Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel knowledge (must be capable of VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)
    • Show strong organisational skills, with high attention to detail

    Key Responsibilities:

    What We Are Looking For:
    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Extensive experience in financial management, ideally within a multi-academy trust or educational setting although we are open to speaking to candidates from the wider public sector and wider commercial sector - this role is more about your values, attitude and aptitude for adding value and enriching the pupil's lives.
    • The ideal candidate will be qualified although those who are currently studying a professional qualification or qualified by experience will also be considered.
    • Knowledge of wider finance, statutory regulations, and experience in procurement, contract management, and funding bids if appropriate
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise and support senior leadership teams and school staff.
    • Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to monitor financial trends and provide sound financial advice.
