Position Overview:

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes of the company. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the finance team.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
Develop and implement robust financial controls to safeguard company assets.
Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control departmental budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial obligations.
Evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
Top 10 practice trained would be advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
