BI Analyst/Developer (PowerBI) - Up to £42,000 - Birmingham - Permanent
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Hybrid Working (1 Day in the Office)
Macildowie Data Analytics have recently collaborated with a private healthcare provider based in Birmingham to recruit a BI Analyst/Developer to the BI functions growing team.
The key objective is to have commercial PowerBI experience including DAX and able to comfortably form key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.
- Identify trends and issues as well as creating purposeful BI/MI and automated dashboards using PowerBI that help our clients business evaluate sales, financial, HR and service performance.
- Cooperating with stakeholders to provide appropriate value-adding commentary helping our client identify gaps and explore.
- Providing regular commentary and insight, ensuring all MI and BI produced tells a story and is easy for users to digest and access.
- Create Ad hoc data analysis requests using Excel, SSRS and PowerBI.
- Support the Data Engineering team to validate data from pipelines.
The Candidate
- Previous experience operating as a BI Developer/BI Analyst/MI Analyst, Data Analyst or in a similar position.
- Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards with appropriate value-adding commentary.
- Proficient in using data reporting tools such PowerBI including DAX and Excel.
- Able to commute to Birmingham once a week, with occasional travel to London.
- Comfortable working and manipulating large data sets in SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
