We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned and qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Finance Manager to join our esteemed client, a well-established SME manufacturing business undergoing an exciting period of change. This interim role spans 6 months, providing pivotal support during a company-wide restructure. The position offers flexible working arrangements, including an early finish on Fridays.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will assume responsibility for a specific division, contributing to key aspects of financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of monthly management accounts for all divisional entities, incorporating detailed analysis on revenue, margins, and variance commentary.
- Manage cash flow, including the preparation and review of 13-week cash forecasts by division, supplier payment management, and credit control.
- Prepare fortnightly LEO 'latest estimated outcome' for the next 3 months in collaboration with divisional management teams.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of divisional and entity VAT returns.
- Organise and lead stock-takes and reconciliations, investigating variances and implementing necessary actions.
- Review all Balance Sheet account reconciliations and develop internal control procedures as required.
- Manage finance lease and right of use asset accounting.
- Provide day-to-day financial support to divisional management teams and offer guidance and training to divisional admin teams as needed.
- Support the Financial Controller with information and analysis for ad-hoc activities.
