Management Accountant | £35,000 - £40,000 | Grantham | Hybrid working

As a Management Accountant based in the Grantham office, you'll not only be part of a company with a meaningful mission but also gain exposure to varied responsibilities that develop both your analytical and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and deliver management accounts for all entities under the group, complete with variance analysis and insightful commentary.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the Head of Commercial Finance with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, partnering closely with operations.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete monthly reconciliations, maintaining accuracy and transparency across accounts.
  • Year-End Audits: Assist in the audit process, working alongside the reporting team to ensure compliance and provide insights.
  • Journal Entries: Manage month-end and year-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, loans, and provisions.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Oversee postings and calculate relevant depreciation for fixed and intangible assets.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams in Payroll, Sales & Purchase Ledger, VAT, and Operations to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modelling and ad hoc analysis to support decision-making across the business.

What You're Like:

  • You are fully or part-qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), and bring strong Excel skills to the role. Experience with Sage is a plus.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working alongside diverse teams.

Package: Salary up to £40,000 + Hybrid Working (2 days WFH per week)
