Finance Manager | £55,000 - £60,000 | Nottingham | Role with Autonomy & Responsibility

Are you a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) looking for a role with autonomy and plenty of varied responsibilities? Here, you'll be responsible for overseeing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and Management Accounts as well as group consolidations, budgeting and forecasting.

A leading innovator in the advanced manufacturing sector, headquartered in Nottingham with sites across the US, Japan, India, China and Portugal, are searching for a Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team. With over 20 years in the industry and turnover of c.£15m, this company specialises in developing cutting-edge technologies that enhance manufacturing processes, including automation systems, IoT solutions, and data analytics.

They serve many of the world's top industrial and manufacturing firms, with a significant market presence in North America, Europe, and Asia. The company is known for its innovative approach, commitment to quality and efficiency, and a relentless focus on driving industrial transformation.

This is a pivotal role where you will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting. As well as this, you'll play a key role in moving their Finance processes away from external accountants and bringing things in house - a real chance to make your mark on a growing business and shape their Finance team! Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Oversee tax payments and internal audits
  • Manage global inter-company transactions
  • Budget preparation and cost/revenue forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax laws

What You Need:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (must be able to sign off accounts)
  • Proficiency in SAGE Intacct is a plus
  • Strong analytical and commercial awareness
  • Understanding of UK tax laws essential; global tax knowledge advantageous

Package:

  • Salary of £55,000 - £60,000
  • Hybrid Working (2 days/week following probation)
