    Macildowie are thrilled to be working exclusively with a globally renowned print business. We are looking for a talented Account Executive to join the business on a temp to perm basis. Your primary job role will be to drive additional sales revenue and margin opportunities, through use and maintenance of the company CRM, whilst building relationships and working in cohesion with Account Managers.

    The Role:

    • Collaborate with the Customer Account Management Team to identify opportunities and projects, working with Specialist Teams to support the sales cycle.
    • Build and leverage customer relationships to generate and qualify opportunities, driving increased sales revenue with a Digital First approach.
    • Maintain customer pricing and product details on the eCommerce platform to enhance the digital experience for customers.
    • Develop and sustain a deep understanding of the IT Services portfolio by participating in ongoing learning activities, including some outside normal business hours. Provide expert knowledge to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
    • Manage customer profiles and account plans, ensuring proper support and pricing levels, while serving as a central contact for pre-sale and post-sale inquiries.
    • Create and maintain accurate opportunities within the CRM and update relevant applications to enable effective opportunity tracking.
    • Coordinate special bid/deal registrations and price negotiations to maximize margin potential and oversee renewals of software and extended warranty support contracts to drive conversions.
    • Oversee the process from opportunity to quote and quote to order by generating quotations, facilitating electronic signatures, and collating contract documentation for submission to Operations.
    • Meet KPIs and financial sales targets while adhering to company policies.

    The Candidate:

    • Proven experience in a similar Technical Sales or Operations role.
    • Confident in Account Management with the ability to develop key relationships across all customer levels.
    • Strong follow-up skills to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
    • Self-motivated, flexible, and collaborative in a team environment.
    • Commercial acumen with excellent numeracy skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex topics clearly.
    • Proficiency in IT, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and web-based tools.
    • Problem-solving skills with logical and lateral thinking to find solutions.
    • Resilience under pressure and control in challenging situations.

    The key objective is to have practiced in a Data Engineering role or equivalent previously as well as having experience with back-end data warehousing tools such as Azure, SnowFlake and SQL.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Nurture and implement data pipelines that extract, transform and load data using into our clients Azure/Snowflake environment for use with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.

    • Work collaboratively with the entire Data & Analytics teams, providing support to the entire department for its data centric needs.
    • Document and record Data architecture, policies and procedures.


    The Candidate

    • Previous experience working in a Data Engineering position or equivalent.
    • Proficient with back-end data warehousing tools such as Azure, SnowFlake and SQL.
    • Comfortably able to write SQL scripts and work with large and complex data sets.
    • Able to travel to Warrington when required.
    • Exposure to PowerBI.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Create & maintain accurate opportunities in the CRM & update Applications to facilitate opportunity tracking.
    • Co-ordinate the special bid/deal registration and price negotiation processes to maximize potential margin and track the renewals of Software & Extended Warranty Support contracts so they can be converted to Sales.
    • Manage the opportunity to quote and quote to order procedures generating quotations for electronic signature and collating contractual order documentation to submit to Operations for processing.
    • Achieve KPIs and financial sales targets whilst adhering to policies

    The role will regularly engage and work with the following resources:

    Internal

    • Regular contact with Sales Specialists & Pre-Sales regarding technical solutions, commercial models, and costs for contracts & proposals.
    • Daily liaison with the Sales division up to Director level regarding account development, business strategy, achieving targets and customer success initiatives.
    • Business Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain, Project Management regarding the fulfillment lifecycle and customer queries.
    • eCommerce Team regarding Digital Sales strategies & Customer requirements.
    • Finance Teams in relation to governance & compliance.

    External

    • Direct customer contact regarding quotations, orders, projects, and queries.
    • Relationships with key vendors and strategic partners to collaborate on opportunities.

    Experience required:

    • Proven experience within a similar Technical Sales or Operations Role.
    • A confident approach to Account Management and development of key relationships at all levels in the Customer.
    • Able to follow up with Customers to create a positive customer experience.
    • Excellent agility with organisational, time management and planning skills.
    • Self-motivated with a flexible and collaborative approach to teamwork.
    • Excellent numeracy skills with a sense of commercial acumen.
