Data Engineer (Azure/SnowFlake) - Up to £50,000 - Warrington - Permanent
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Hybrid/Remote Working Available
Macildowie Data Analytics is delighted to partner with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Data Engineer.
The key objective is to have practiced in a Data Engineering role or equivalent previously as well as having experience with back-end data warehousing tools such as Azure, SnowFlake and SQL.
Main Responsibilities
- Nurture and implement data pipelines that extract, transform and load data using into our clients Azure/Snowflake environment for use with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
- Partner with the wider Data/IT teams to create and maintain the performance of the businesses data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines implementing ETL/ELT processes using the appropriate business tools.
- Design and developing scalable SQL ETL packages from the businesses source systems.
- Analyse and review complex and large data sets, systems, data flow, dependencies and relationships.
- Work collaboratively with the entire Data & Analytics teams, providing support to the entire department for its data centric needs.
- Document and record Data architecture, policies and procedures.
The Candidate
- Previous experience working in a Data Engineering position or equivalent.
- Proficient with back-end data warehousing tools such as Azure, SnowFlake and SQL.
- Comfortably able to write SQL scripts and work with large and complex data sets.
- Able to travel to Warrington when required.
- Exposure to PowerBI.
