Global Account Director

Do you have a proven track record in strategic account selling to Fortune Global 500 companies?

Are you comfortable operating in highly complex and rapidly changing environments? Do you excel

in building strong relationships, driving strategic growth, and leading global teams? Do you have an

appreciation of different cultures and have travelled extensively or lived in other countries? If the

answer is yes to these questions, please read on!

Our client is a leading global software solutions provider and due to their exciting and sustained growth,

they are looking to hire a Global Account Director to take charge of key international accounts in the

Nordic region and guide them to success. The role is hybrid working and HQ is based in Solna, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic account leadership on designated Global Major Accounts to achieve profitable growth for the organisation and its customers.
  • Own senior customer relationships and be accountable to senior internal stakeholders for account performance.
  • Responsible for total customer business on global basis including hardware, software, services, and annuity.
  • Formulate and execute global account planning that provides clear vision, objectives, and strategy.
  • Identify and win new opportunities on a local, regional, and global basis across all business areas.
  • Matrix management across the Group to ensure virtual teams and resources are aligned in achieving customer objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of global account management experience, including consultative selling.
  • Experience working with Fortune Global 500 companies in dynamic industries.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in planning, forecasting, and managing $20M+ in annual revenue.
  • Ability to navigate complex global environments and maintain a strategic focus.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
  • Master's Degree such as Executive MBA is desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish. Additional language(s) beneficial but not required.
  • Experienced in global business transactions: knowledge around legal, regulatory, commercial and operational considerations in global business.
  • General knowledge and appreciation of key technology trends impacting upon customers.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
