Macildowie are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Senior Account Manager to join a leading business that we are excited to be supporting with their search. This role demands an individual with strong relationship-building skills, a keen eye for identifying opportunities, and the ability to drive strategic growth.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage key accounts, explore new business opportunities, and represent the organization at relevant industry events.
The Role:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as the primary contact for key accounts and stakeholders.
- Address client issues proactively, providing customized solutions and ensuring exceptional service.
- Travel frequently to meet clients, local authorities, and partners, representing the business at industry events and exhibitions.
- Independently analyze CRM data to identify leads, opportunities, and impactful meetings while monitoring competitor activity to adjust strategies.
- Engage in retention efforts, minimizing client losses and leveraging internal resources to resolve challenges.
- Develop and implement account strategies to maximize upselling, cross-selling, and sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless client support and drive business growth.
- Present innovative ideas and high-level feedback to leadership for continuous improvement and strategic development.
- Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, monitoring market trends, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Maintain professionalism and flexibility while managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or a related field.
- Proven success in developing and maintaining customer relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating client data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales management tools.
- Advanced negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
- Motivated and flexible, with a high degree of autonomy and adaptability.
- Demonstrated ability to present ideas, strategies, and solutions confidently.
