Worcester, hybrid

£25,000 - £30,000

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Macildowie is thrilled to be working with a leading retail and ecommerce business, specialising in the health and fitness sector, who are looking for their next B2B sales superstar!


As a Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the company's sales and revenue growth. Your role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Key responsibilities include prospecting potential clients, conducting market research, presenting products or services, negotiating contracts, and managing accounts. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions. Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities is also crucial for effective strategising.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients via cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
  • Qualify leads and prioritise efforts.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Tailor sales strategies based on market insights.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing valuable solutions.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, ensuring mutual benefit.
  • Close deals to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure retention and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product development departments.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Skilled in negotiation and relationship building.
  • Proficient with CRM software and market research.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in similar product/service sales is desirable.
