Position: Improvement and Transformation Lead

Location: East of England

Duration: Interim - 6 months minimum

Type: Hybrid working

Daily rate: £200-300 umbrella

Macildowie Recruitment are working on behalf of a Public Sector organisation based in East of England, to appoint a Improvement and Transformation Lead to join their Improvement and Transformation team on an interim basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior leadership and experience in the identification of improvement and transformation opportunities
• To lead the creation of improvement/transformation blueprints, gap analysis, planning of change programmes and allocation of resources required across all projects
• Lead programmes of transformation across specified services/areas, to deliver demonstrable improvements
• Develop effective stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring co-production partnership working is in place across improvement work from the outset
• Develop and deliver effective update/reporting mechanisms, appropriate to the scale of improvement and transformation team involvement
• To provide senior leadership on complex, high profile projects as required in the form of consultancy and coaching to service project leads

Requirements:

• Programme/project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2, Agile, MSP)
• Significant experience in a middle/senior management role within a complex operational environment
• Experience of managing large and complex programmes involving several organisations and a wide range of stakeholders
• Knowledge and extensive experience of using service improvement methodologies, tools and techniques
• Experience of complex redesign across services/organisations involving change and organisational management of several services and professional groups
