Finance Manager | England Netball (Not for Profit) | Loughborough
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with England Netball in the appointment of their new Finance Manager.
Remit
This Finance Manager post will be reporting into the Director of Finance and managing a team of 3 individuals.
This is a hands on role that needs someone who is happy to get into the detail but who also will be playing a key part in the financial growth of Netball and England Netball's 10 year Adventure Strategy.
They are looking for a well-rounded individual with technical finance ability, experience developing a team as well as a natural ability to connect with others, whether it's through active listening, empathy, or a warm and approachable manner.
They are based in the Sports Park in Loughborough (LE11 3QF) and they cover a variety of areas from the grass roots development side to high performance, Netball Super League, competitions, and also their commercial arms. Netball is the most played women's sport in England and this role offers the opportunity to truly make an impact in a great cause elevating the level and recognition of Netball as well as inspiring more people to join the sport.
It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in both leading and helping deliver new initiatives and projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Experience managing and developing a team (1-2-1's, PDP's etc)
- Business Partnering experience & enjoy an outward facing role
- Experience Leading year end and audit/ statutory processes
- An understanding of UK VAT and regulatory requirements
- Experience producing budgets, forecasts and management accounts
Desirable
- Finance experience within a not for profit setting
- Knowledge and involvement with partial VAT exemption
