Senior Buyer
£45,000 £60,000 per annum

Location: Derby (on-site / in-office)
We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our partners procurement team in Derby, responsible for managing Supply Chain and Demand Planning activities. This pivotal role involves seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet service levels and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop master plans and material requirement plans for short, medium, and long-term needs.
- Collaborate with Product Line Managers for integrated tactical and strategic planning.
- Report on material availability and potential shortages, providing actionable plans.
- Procure materials and parts in accordance with demand requirements.
- Participate in make versus buy decisions and supplier onboarding processes.
- Manage end-to-end shipping for goods arriving from outside the UK, mainly Europe.
- Review and manage incremental stock requests while minimising overall stock holding.
- Maintain data integrity in the system regarding lead times, delivery dates, and pricing.
- Collaborate with Business Units to understand SKU risks and constraints.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documented supply procedures.

Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Buyer within a purchasing & supply chain function.
- Knowledge of supply planning, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and IT skills.
- Previous experience with Sage 200. (Desirable)
