Join a leading global company as a Buyer!
Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of procurement within a machinery manufacturing industry? Are you motivated, eager to make a difference, and passionate about negotiating the best deals in the market? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Uttoxeter (On-site, 5 days a week)
Salary: circa £35,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm & Early finish Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm finish!!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Supplier Negotiation:
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor pricing.
  • Utilise your negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or service.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly to foster collaborative and lasting partnerships.
  • Cost Management and Sourcing:
  • Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Explore opportunities for savings through negotiations, bulk purchasing, and alternative sourcing.
  • Inventory Oversight:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, collaborating with various departments for accurate demand forecasting.
