Job Overview:

This senior-level role involves leading a team responsible for delivering changes and upgrades to internal browser-based systems used by over 400 sites.

The position requires close collaboration with business leaders to propose, design, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiencies

Intranet Systems Project Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, define, and deliver changes and enhancements to existing Intranet systems.
  • Liaise with internal customers and colleagues across the business to identify and negotiate new requirements,
  • Engaging with colleagues across the senior leadership team, creating and presenting clear proposals for board approval when required.
  • Partner with third-party software developers and service providers to ensure solution delivery meets standards.
  • Collaborate with other Systems Teams to ensure successful integration of solutions with core systems.
  • Ensure successful project transition into operational support.
  • Coach, mentor, and advise Business Representatives and Team members.

Your Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with structured project environments, including methodologies like PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Full project lifecycle expertise.
  • Experience collaborating with C-level company, customer, and supplier representatives.
  • Knowledge of internal browser-based systems, electronic trading, integration projects, and supporting technologies (e.g., SharePoint, PowerShell).
  • Experience managing external software suppliers.
  • Proven management experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Operational management skills beyond technical expertise.
  • Innovative, imaginative, and commercially aware.
  • Commitment to high product quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

  • Salary depending on experience of £65,000 - £80,000
