Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Macildowie are currently recruiting for a IT Helpdesk role working for a lovely business based in Worcester. As IT Helpdesk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our internal systems operate effectively, delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your duties will involve testing new system processes and features, as well as supporting IT and operational projects.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service. You will conduct test cases, pinpoint issues, and work closely with developers to ensure high-quality releases. Reporting to the Test Team Leader, you will help ensure our software meets user expectations and provides a seamless experience.
This role is fully office based with fill time hours Monday to Friday.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct comprehensive testing of new and existing internal systems, E-commerce website, features, and functionalities.
Collaborate with important third-party partners and internal teams such as marketing, accounts, and dispatch to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Work with senior test lead and developers to understand product requirements and functionality.
Test software applications and features to meet end-user requirements and usability standards.
Assist in creating and maintaining UAT plans, schedules, and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Be responsive and proactive in managing the allocated workload.
Maintain accuracy and take responsibility for your work.
Participate in post-UAT reviews to identify areas for improvement in the testing process
Support the customer service team during busy periods
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Working knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SAP/Magento, or similar systems
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues clearly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task, and prioritise work, as required
Experience with software applications and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Competent level of general mathematics.
Good understanding of GDPR.
