HR Advisor
Up to £30,000p.a.
Heanor, Derbyshire
Full Time | Permanent
Office based

I am thrilled to be working with this client in the healthcare sector looking for a HR Advisor to join their team. Operating in a lean HR function, you will have the opportunity to work under an impressive HR Manager and develop your HR skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering the full employee and recruitment lifecycles for the organisation
  • Support on Employee Relations cases, providing guidance and support to managers on disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
  • Offer day-to-day advice on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice across the business.
  • Support with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development activities.
  • Work with the HR Manager on ad-hoc HR projects and drive continuous improvement across the function
  • Run the monthly payroll process


The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience operating in a transactional HR role, advising managers on best HR practice is essential
  • A CIPD Level 3 is advantageous though not essential
  • Experience with supporting on and understanding end-to-end employee relations case work is essential
  • A tenacious, collaborative and empathetic professional with a 'can do' attitude will fit well into this organisation
  • Experience with SAGE or running payroll is advantageous, though not essential
