I am looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join my client for a 12 month period. The successful candidate will report directly into the HR Director and will sit alongside a recruitment and payroll specialist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing core HR operations and is passionate about enhancing HR processes. As a key player within a lean HR team, you will ensure that all transactional HR activities run smoothly and in compliance with UK employment laws. You will support both managers and employees with essential HR processes, while contributing to the delivery of a seamless HR function.
The Opportunity:
As a HR Business Partner, you will be a vital part of the HR team, responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day HR activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on efficiency, has a meticulous eye for detail, and enjoys providing top-notch HR services. Key Responsibilities:
HR Business partnering supporting managers in the resourcing and management of people in their areas.
Managing employee relations cases including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes for c150 employees
Training and development - Agree training focus, gain the sign off training requests, and assist in maintaining the competency framework. Support continuous professional development (CPD)
Exit interviews - Conduct exit interviews for the relevant business area
Be part of the organisations Ethical, Social and Governance Team
Through the team, manage the employee life cycle. Ensure the administration of HR records in your areas are up to date
Be the mental health awareness champion for the site
Drive, with the HRD, a site wide internal communication plan to improve engagement
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar HR role, with a strong focus on HR operations and transactional processes.
Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Proficient in HR systems and data management, with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience handling employee relations cases.
CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience preferred.
