About the Role

Macildowie HR is working with a leading organisation who is seeking a People Business Partner to join their team. This role involves close collaboration with a designated business area, providing exceptional people support and driving the overall people strategy. As a trusted advisor, you will be instrumental in talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and reward and recognition, significantly contributing to a thriving company culture.

Responsibilities

* Strategy Development: Develop and implement people strategies that align with both departmental and overall business objectives, in collaboration with senior leadership.
* HR Advisory: Provide strategic guidance in various HR domains, including talent management, employee development, performance management, reward and recognition, engagement, employee relations, and internal communications.
* Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute workforce plans that support business goals and promote a high-performing, engaged workforce.
* Employee Development: Partner with the Learning and Development team to foster a high-performance culture through effective performance management processes.
* Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance with employment laws and regulations, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
* Conflict Resolution: Establish strategies to ensure fair treatment and resolution of conflicts, aligning with the company's core values.
* HR Technology: Leverage HR technology tools for analytics, employee engagement, and performance management.
* Data Analysis: Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate strategies.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various HR teams, including Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition, to deliver solutions supporting the broader people strategy.
* Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, advising on their impact on HR practices.


What You Bring


* Significant experience as an HR Business Partner, with comprehensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
* Expertise in reward and recognition, internal communication, talent/performance management, and engagement is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong business acumen, aligning people initiatives with strategic business objectives.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
