Exciting Opportunity: Credit Controller - £30,000
Location: Derby

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge? We are partnering with a leading consultancy business in Derby to find a talented individual to join their finance team. The Role:

As a Credit Controller, you'll be at the heart of managing the business's credit processes and ensuring a smooth cash flow. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the sales ledger and ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to resolve payment issues and queries.
  • Conducting credit checks and setting up client credit limits.
  • Producing regular reports on outstanding debt and cashflow forecasting.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial operations.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in a credit control role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
