Job Description
Payroll Administrator - Hybrid Working (£28,000 + Bonus)
Join a growing company as a Payroll Administrator, where you'll play a key role in managing accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple sites in the UK. You'll be part of a close-knit team, supporting the payroll. Salary: £28,000 + annual bonus
Location: DE74 - Hybrid (2 days from home)
Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:30 am - 5 pm) & Friday (8:30 am - 4 pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and on-time payroll for all employees.
- Ensure statutory deductions, such as tax and National Insurance, are processed correctly and submitted on time.
- Perform thorough checks of payroll data and reports, maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external bodies, such as pension providers and local councils, and provide payroll-related reports as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processes, including reconciliations and audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide cover for key tasks as required.
About You
- Essential: Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Strong communication skills and experience dealing with external bodies such as pension advisors and auditors.
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP or People XD is advantageous but not required.
