Macildowie Finance are partnering exclusively with an exciting SME organisation to recruit a Finance Manager.
If you are a detail oriented accountant of a hands on nature, seeking an exciting and varied role, this could be the ideal next step for you. This role is much different from your typical 'month end churn' management accounting position, affording the successful candidate the opportunity to partner with operations and support in key decision making initiatives.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be tasked with;
Production of monthly management accounts for two business units - ensuring integrity and accuracy. Providing supporting commentary on areas of variance.
Financial Accounting on a monthly basis - balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns etc.
Management of the Stock system - ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Ensuring all invoicing is process in a timely and accurate manner in adherence with company policy.
Tight cash flow management - all cash postings and banking activities.
To be considered for this role you will be;
A Qualified Accountant
A competent Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must).
A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholders.
Experience of operating in a hands on management accounting role is absolutely essential.
Stock management/reporting experience would be advantage.
