Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant - Temporary Support - 3 Months Minimum
Location: Central Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 - Full Time Equivalent
Type: Part time - 15 hours a week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible with Start and Finish Times and Working Days
Only 1 Day a week in the office as a minimum

Job Description:
As a Part time accounts assistant, you would take full ownership of both sides of the ledger and would report to the Finance Controller within a small, dynamic family run business.
Your role will encompass the following key accountabilities:
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and credit notes
- Set up new suppliers
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Send remittance advices
- Raise sales invoices and manage credit control
- Record weekly income
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist with finance filing and administration
- Handle supplier queries
- Support Finance Officer with ad-hoc tasks
Key Technical Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role.
- Confident over the phone with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Sage systems experience is advantageous but not essential
