Job Description

Job Title: Credit Control Administrator

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £25,000 - dependent on experience

Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 1 hour lunch - Flexible Hours - 37.5 hours a week

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with a passion for credit control? Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join a growing and stable business.

Main Duties:

  • Bank Statement Management: Prepare, log, allocate, and resolve queries related to WSDL bank statements.
  • New Accounts: Record, request credit reports, and send acceptance letters.
  • National Accounts: Handle allocation, POD requests, and resolve queries.
  • Customer Payments: Support daily card payment requests from customers and depots.
  • System Updates: Update customer accounts on the AS400 system as needed.
  • Credit Reviews: Assist in preparing depot review lists, checking online credit limits monthly.
  • Administration: Manage depot/customer paying-in books, prepare and bank cheques, send invoices, set up emailed invoices, and prepare salesman bonuses.
  • Communication: Send storage/insurance letters, answer overflow calls, and perform general administrative duties as needed.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
