Finance Assistant | Permanent | Leicester | Up To £25,000

About the Role:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join us at our central Leicester office, to work as part of a busy Finance team. Joining a supportive network, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical:

  • Process sales invoices and purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all financial data aligns with company records.
  • Collect and verify employee time sheets.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll.
  • Address and resolve payroll queries.

Skills and Experience:

  • Basic accounting technical knowledge.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and query resolution abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong Excel skills including V-look ups and Pivot tables
