As the business continue to expand their operations, they're looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be the cornerstone of their financial strategy and decision-making process.

The Role
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their financial future. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, developing strategic financial initiatives, and supporting their executive leadership team with quality financial insight and analysis, as well as leading their IT infrastructure team. Your expertise will guide key investment decisions, drive profitability, and ensure financial integrity in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company.
  • Create and maintain relationships with service providers, including banking institutions and financial advisors.
  • Work closely with management to develop MI and analytics that enable smarter, more commercial decision making.
  • Manage a finance team including financial control, FP&A and the AP/AR team.
  • Manage the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring the business is maintaining a technical advantage in a fast changing world.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team participating in pivotal decisions regarding resource allocation and strategic direction.
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organisation as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 10 years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations in a manufacturing/food manufacturing, FMCG or related industry environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, food manufacturing or FMCG sector will be key.
