Management Accountant
Job Description
Our branded and award winning Kettering based manufacturing client, an innovative and international leader in their field is currently looking to recruit a new Management Accountant. This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking business who are poised for growth in an exciting and fast paced market.
In this role you will be responsible for managing a small team and for providing commercial and value adding analytical and financial support to the Financial Director and operational /production stakeholders whilst working collaboratively to maximise performance and output whilst underpinning the key drivers for continuous improvement.
As Management Accountant you will be responsible for providing; accurate and timely management accounting including insight and commentary; trading performance and KPI reporting (daily / weekly / monthly); analysis of commercial and operational performance, identifying drivers of both positive and negative results and margin to enable the business to maximise opportunities and counter threats; to share responsibility for the preparation and development of monthly reporting packs; budgeting and re-forecasting of commercial performance targets and top to bottom line profitability (EBITDA); Management of EBIT risk and opportunity outside of re-forecasting cycles; Other ad-hoc tasks will include your involvement on change projects and continuous improvement of all aspects of business reporting and involved in pro-actively reviewing existing customer channels, product offerings and practices, to propose improvement opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a proven and grounded management accounting background and will be a disciplined, organised and confident ACMA, ACCA, ACA Part Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE Management Accountant with a proven background and experience in budgeting and forecasting and analysis. Strong systems and data skills are essential as is the ability to challenge, facilitate and influence at all levels across the business. Our client will support hybrid and agile working.
