Finance Assistant

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic team based in Alfreton. This is a varied role, encompassing essential financial responsibilities within a well-established company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase ledger management
• Sales ledger maintenance
• Cashbook reconciliation
• Handling customer queries
• Credit control activities
• Statement reconciliations
• Expense management
• Data entry for payroll

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance
• Essential experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbook
• Familiarity with financial systems, Xero experience not essential

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
• 37.5 hours per week
• Office-based role

Salary:

• £25,000 per annum
