Exciting Opportunity: Payroll Specialist

An outstanding opportunity awaits to become part of an established payroll team based in Derby, managing a diverse client portfolio spanning various industries. My clients seek an experienced candidate adept at handling bureau payroll for a high volume of clients. This role is perfect for individuals with keen attention to detail and a passion for client interaction.

Location: Derby
Contract: Permanent - Full time (37.5 Hours)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Dependent on experience

Working Hours: Core office hours are 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, with flexibility available to accommodate work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll for 30+ clients and approximately 1000 employees.
  • Collaborating with clients to meet their specific requirements.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients efficiently.
  • Handling pay changes, new starters, and leavers.
  • Facilitating pension submissions.
  • Liaising with HMRC to ensure timely document submission.
  • Prior experience in payroll bureau services.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Previous experience managing a client portfolio.
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Iris Payroll Professional (desirable).
  • CIPP qualification (desirable).
