Credit Controller

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Macildowie are representing a vibrant and growing company located in Nottingham city centre. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in credit control to contribute to the success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise a minimum of 5 years of credit control experience to manage and maintain a portion of our £30 million ledger.
• Work collaboratively within a team of 8 Credit Controllers under the guidance of the Senior Credit Controller.
• Assist in the timely and effective recovery of outstanding debts.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues and disputes.
• Regularly report on credit control activities to the Senior Credit Controller.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of credit control experience.
• Background in legal or professional services is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Working Hours:

• 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• 1-hour lunch break.
• 35 hours per week.

Hybrid Working:

• Flexible working arrangements are available.

Salary:

• £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Finance qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Benefits:

• 5% employer pension contribution, 3% employee contribution.
• Annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
