Finance Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Group Financial Controller. The position encompasses diverse responsibilities, primarily focusing on overseeing the end-to-end finance processes. This entails delivering monthly management accounts and providing ongoing support for the finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly management accounts for all entities, offering valuable insights into company performance and aiding decision-making.
- Support various financial processes, including payroll, expense submission, invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash flow management, banking, loans, and cash reconciliation.
- Uphold the integrity of the Company's ledger and associated systems, adhering to best practices and audit standards.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead their execution.
- Assist in cash flow management, aligning with business requirements on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
Skills and Qualifications
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong grasp of management accounting principles and day-to-day finance operations.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Xero Accounting Software.
- Previous experience in the Financial Services sector.

This is a hybrid working role, requiring the Finance Manager to be present in the Nottingham office for two days a week.
