Job Description

Job Title: Interim Group Finance Analyst (London / hybrid)

About the Company: Macildowie have partnered with a global leader in retail, an innovative company well known for end-to-end solutions in industrial services. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Group Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team.

Role Summary: As an Interim Group Finance Analyst, you'll be instrumental in producing and explaining insightful financial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams, emphasising month-end and year-end review, budgeting and forecasting, and offering support to senior leaders throughout the Group.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce and review financial metrics (eg. gross margin analysis, price volume analysis and cost allocations) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance team to produce financial reports, budgets and forecasts, proactively providing solutions to improve and enhance the end-to-end reporting process.
  • Provide insightful analysis highlighting risk and opportunities for the company.
  • Financial modelling to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Assist finance transformation and process improvement projects when required.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis when required.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (minimum 2 years PQE)
  • Track record of Finance Analyst / FP&A / Financial Accounting roles
  • Experience with financial modelling and data analytics
  • Strong technical accounting skill and experience
  • Inquisitive mind with good problem solving experience
  • Excellent team player with ability to collaborate cross-teams and with senior stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills, being highly proficient in Excel
  • Resilient, hands on, motivated, and positive "can-do" attitude.
