Our retained client, a dynamic and technologically driven international production and supply chain business based in Milton Keynes is currently looking to appoint a commercially aware and technically strong Financial Controller.

As well as ensuring the smooth operational running of a well-functioning finance team, this role will also be the steward of tight financial controls, governance and risk reduction. Reporting to the Finance Director you will also assume responsibility for overseeing financial accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and year-end activities as well as being an invaluable co-project sponsor for the upgrade and alignment of group finance and ERP systems.

The successful candidate will have already established themselves as a thorough and diligent finance manager / group accountant or business partner and will also be able to demonstrate strong business partnering skills with a particular focus on adding value, driving performance and helping their business to position itself in the most profitable and growth geared direction.

Advantageous to this role will be a current or previous background in an international business coupled with strong financial accounting skills, solid cash-flow reporting experience and the ability to understand and operate in an often complex divisional and group environment.
