Job Description

Are you a school/college-leaver or junior candidate, ready to kick-start your career in finance and looking for progression with hybrid working opportunities?

Position: Junior Bookkeeper (no previous experience required)

Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire

Salary: £18,500 (with annual salary reviews as you complete your training)

Hybrid working: 2 days per week from home, 3 days in the office

Study Support: Great for candidates looking to study AAT/ACCA qualifications!

Flexi-time: 37.5 hours per week, 10am-4:30pm core hours but you are open to request a start/finish time between 8am and 6:30pm

Guaranteed Progression: This company has been known to internally promote Junior Bookkeepers to Senior Bookkeepers, to Accountants.

This role has been made available due to company growth. As a Junior Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in finance as no previous experience is required. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the processing of financial transactions
  • Maintaining accurate records of invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts
  • Assisting with month-end financial reporting
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
