Accountant | Nottingham | Up to £35,000 DOE

Job Description:

You will play a key role in providing essential financial services to a diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs, perform various accounting tasks and ensure compliance with regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and career growth in a friendly and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Managing client accounts and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with tax computations and returns
  • Providing excellent client service and addressing client inquiries
  • Collaborating with team members on various accounting projects
  • Qualifications:
  • AAT qualified as a minimum, ACCA or ACA or equivalent qualification by experience in a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Xero, Quickbooks Taxcalc etc
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
