Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with strong knowledge of accounts receivable to join one of our client's team in Nottingham. This is a part-time position, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in finance and a keen eye for accuracy.

Position: Accounts Assistant Part time

Location: Long Eaton, Nottingham

Salary: £26k - £30k (dependent on experience)

40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and Billing: Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Cash Collection: Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely and effective collection of payments.
  • Customer Queries: Address customer inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and resolve any billing-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in relevant accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Flexible schedule
