Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Salary: £26,000 - £28,500 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a leader in their industry, providing first-class services to their customers. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate records of outstanding debts and invoices
• Chase overdue invoices via telephone, email, and letter
• Allocate payments received to customer accounts promptly and accurately
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve any billing queries
• Monitor credit limits and make recommendations for credit holds or releases
• Prepare reports on credit control activities for management review
• Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts receivables

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Knowledge of credit control procedures and regulations
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
