Our client, a renowned international management company based in Nottingham, is actively seeking a dedicated Sales Ledger Clerk to join their esteemed finance team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a company providing accounting and contract management services to corporate clients, recruitment agencies, and professional contractors.

Senior Sales Ledger Clerk

Location: Nottingham

Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and process sales invoices with precision and efficiency
  • Ensure timely processing of data within negotiated time lines
  • Raise multi-currency invoices in SAGE 50 Cloud
  • Manage a high volume of invoices during peak periods
  • Execute debt management processes for financial stability
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a smooth invoice process

Desired skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Good working knowledge of SAGE for efficient ledger management
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Proven ability to use initiative and solve problems independently
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude, fostering teamwork
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Professional handling of invoicing-related issues with courtesy and efficiency
