Macildowie are working exclusively with a central Coventry based business who are looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant to join their Finance team.

This role is ideal for a finance candidate with 2-3 years' experience working in a transactional finance role who is looking for a step up to work with aspects of management accounts. The role will be more clerical based for the initial 3 months', after which you will pick up the management accounts tasks and responsibilities.

This role is fully office based, with on-site parking provided.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Invoice coding, processing and reconciling
• Posting payments and analysis of company bank accounts
• Assisting the Management Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing the Accounts Payable inbox

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• 2-3 years' experience in a finance role
• Actively studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Confident and able to adapt to changing work requirements
• Understanding of accounting principles
