Macildowie Finance are currently supporting a leading Leicestershire based business to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
This role will be working for a business who are one of the major players in their industry, they operate from a position of premium quality and have been consistently recognised for the quality of their product and for outperforming industry standards.

This business is on a journey of digital/data transformation and are looking to move away from over-reliance on Excel and will look to continue to invest heavily in Power BI and other tools.

Responsibilities will include:
Providing high quality and accurate analysis and commentary for a variety of key stakeholders including CFO, CEO, Sales and Marketing Director.
Developing relationships across all levels of the business, providing key financial advice and support to a wide range of stakeholders.
Reviewing, analysis and presentation of key performance metrics including project performance.
Utilising advanced Excel skills to undertake deep dive analysis to 'drill down' on areas of variance to plan - both positive and negative.
Working with key stakeholders to advise on opportunities to increase profitability - providing a full end to end commercial finance service to the whole business.
Take a lead on all budgeting and forecasting activity across the business.
To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with a passion for Commercial Finance.
You must have demonstrable examples of business partnering ideally with Managers/Directors.
You must have the ability to disseminate and present large volumes of data. Excel skills up to Macro/VBA level would be advantageous.
Previous experience of Power BI would also be advantageous.
