We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our SME client based in North Leicestershire. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support their continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial obligations.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop financial strategies that align with overall business objectives.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective controls and processes.
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

You will be/have:

ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior financial management role.
Previous line management experience.
