Position: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Duration: Full-time, Permanent

Plus: 26 days holidays + bank holidays and an award-winning training/induction package

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a continuously growing and customer-centric organisation based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, who are recruiting for a permanent Accounts Assistant in a full-time role to join a supportive and nurturing Accounts team of 6 on a permanent basis. Responsibilities

• Purchase Ledger invoice processing, dealing with supplier payment queries, copy invoices
• Sales Ledger raising invoices on a monthly basis, raising client statements, and dealing with PO numbers and systems
• Client account allocations, and checking/production of monthly client trading accounts
• Support the Ops team in dealing with customer/client queries
• Working closely with you Accounts team-mates to improve the efficiency of operations and work processes
• Processing nominal journals

Requirements

• We are looking to consider candidates with 2-3 years of Accounts experience across Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger; but it is the attitude, work ethic, and MS Excel experience that matters more!
• Experience on other Microsoft systems (Outlook etc.) is essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated individual who can work under pressure and to achieve tight deadlines
