Accounts Assistant

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Contract: 9 month FTC

Hours: 20 - 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro-rata), dependent on experience

We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant for a temporary role with a 9 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving finance team, with the flexibility of remote work and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Credit Control: Implement effective credit control procedures to manage and reduce outstanding debts, fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • General Finance Support: Contribute to other aspects of finance, including assisting with financial reporting, expense management, and maintaining financial records.
  • Flexible Working: Take advantage of flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home, to achieve a healthy work-life balance.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounts, particularly in purchase ledger and credit control.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
