Data / MI Analyst - Up to £35,000 - Permanent - Leicester
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Hybrid Working Available (2 Office Days)

Macildowie Data Analytics has recently partnered with a well-established and global brand to recruit an MI Analyst to join our clients growing customer services and MI function.


The key objective is to perform a full ETC process including scripting and manipulating SQL data as well as building dashboards and visuals with PowerBI.

Main Responsibilities

  • Confidently collaborating with internal stakeholders to construct appropriate value-adding commentary ensuring that the BI/MI you're reporting is user engaging and tells a story.
  • Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.
  • Cooperating with stakeholders to provide appropriate value-adding commentary helping our client identify gaps and explore.
  • Identify opportunities to automate data processes and implement data quality control measures.
  • Extract data from our clients SQL Server, whilst manipulating and scripting SQL code and performing a full ETL process.
  • Pull data from core systems whilst partnering and cooperating with customer services teams to identify trends in data including customer calls, customer call quality, customer call wait time, creating dashboards and reporting MI on a weekly, monthly basis using Excel and PowerBI.
  • Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.


The Candidate

  • Previous commercial experience operating in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or MI Analyst.
  • Able to manipulating large SQL code.
  • Proficient user of PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Comfortable building relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Able to write SQL code Desirable.
  • A previous background as a Data Analyst working in a contact centre environment Desirable.
