BI Reporting Lead / Manager - Up to £65,000 - Northampton - Hybrid Working Available
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm - Permanent

Macildowie Data Analytics has proudly partnered exclusively with a reputable and well-established pharmaceutical organisation with over 80 years pharmaceutical market expertise to recruit a BI Reporting Lead / Manager based in Northampton.

The key objective is to have a real passion for providing data visualisation and insights which support strategic business decision making whilst being hands-on in visualization projects in a similar role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively work with stakeholders globally to gather requirements and support with centralising data to help automate reporting.
  • Analyse data to inform strategic decisions, uncover trends, and optimise performance across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Extract data from core systems whilst supporting BI Leaders globally with establishing and building a robust data warehouse for ongoing reporting. Your data expertise will be instrumental in ensuring data availability and accuracy.
  • Involved with a hands-on visualization tool migration from QlickView to PowerBI.
  • Managing a team of 3, analysing key customer sales data, target customer data, company profitability data and product data whilst building user engaging insights with PowerBI, ensuring that each dashboard tells a story to help stakeholders make key and informed business decisions.
  • Create insights that pinpoint and prioritise key areas for the business, ensuring our focus aligns with industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Scrutinise data quality, rectify discrepancies, and proactively identify and address dataset issues to guarantee precision in our analysis.
  • Playing a crucial role in the preparation and monitoring of weekly/monthly metrics required for regulatory reporting using PowerBI.


The Candidate

  • Previous experience operating as a Senior BI Analyst / Lead / Manager or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in handling and integrating large, complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data manipulation techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation.
  • Proficient user of data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Excel to effectively communicate insights, trends, and findings.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, approaching data challenges with analytical thinking and innovative solutions.
  • Previous experience in data warehousing or with legacy and modern database technologies.
  • Able to commute to Towcester.
