Compliance Administrator
Job Description
Macildowie are seeking a Compliance Administrator for a professional services company in Derby. This role is ideal for a meticulous and proactive individual with a strong attention to detail, looking to ensure the business complies with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative roles within compliance, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 dependant on experience.
Please note that this role is a full-time, on-site position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of compliance documentation and audits
- Support in the preparation of reports and compliance-related paperwork
- Monitor and track changes in regulations and ensure the business stays up-to-date
- Assist in internal audits and manage compliance checks
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and internal teams to ensure smooth compliance processes
- Manage and update compliance databases and systems
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure staff are aware of compliance policies
- Support the compliance team with any administrative tasks or projects
- Assist with resolving any compliance-related issues in a timely manner
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a compliance administrative role
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and industry standards
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Experience in a regulated industry (such as finance, healthcare, or legal) would be advantageous
